[ ]GRYFFINDOR DORMITORIES (3 sub-boards)
The Gryffindor common room is located in one of the castle's highest towers, the entrance to which is located on the seventh floor in the east wing of the castle and is guarded by a painting of The Fat Lady, who is garbed in a pink dress. She permits entry only after being given the correct password.

218
[ ]HUFFLEPUFF DORMITORIES (3 sub-boards)
The Hufflepuff dormitories and common room are located somewhere in the basement, their entrance found through a still-life painting that is somewhere near the kitchens. The Hufflepuff common room is filled with yellow hangings and fat armchairs and it has little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors.

14
[ ]RAVENCLAW DORMITORIES (3 sub-boards)
The dormitories are located in Ravenclaw Tower on the west side of the school. The common room is round and filled with blue hangings and fat armchairs and has a domed ceiling painted with stars. A logical riddle must be solved in order to gain entry.

57
[ ]SLYTHERIN DORMITORIES (3 sub-boards)
The Slytherin dormitories and common room are reached through a bare stone wall in the dungeons. The Slytherin common room is a long, low, dungeon-style room, located under the Black Lake, furnished with green lamps, and carved armchairs.

[ ]POTIONS CLASSROOM
It is large enough to hold double classes, cold enough to see one's breath in the winter and creepy enough without the jars of pickled animals lining the walls. There is a gargoyle in the corner spouting icy water into a basin.

[ ]SNAPE'S OFFICE
If one follows the narrow stone staircase leading from the Entrance Hall to the dungeons, the entrance to Snape's office is halfway down the cold passageway leading from the foot of that staircase. Snape is in the habit of keeping the place dimly lit and he has a fireplace connected to the Floo network. The walls, which are in shadow, are lined with glass jars, including the wall behind Snape's desk. Each jar contains some potion (differently colored in different jars) in which is suspended slimy bits of some animal or plant. Snape also keeps a cupboard in one corner containing his private stores of potion ingredients and a wall clock; occasionally an extra table, and a chair or two for visitors are present.

[ ]ENTRANCE HALL
The Hogwarts Entrance Hall is located on the ground floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with a wide marble staircase opposite the oak doors. Double doors to the right lead into the Great Hall.
00
[ ]GREAT HALL (1 sub-board)
The Hall is lead up to with a pair of great oak doors. Once inside, there are four long tables for each of the houses. At the head of it all is the Staff Table, with a spot for each of the teachers. The Hall is used as a meeting place for students during meals and a room for special events.

[ ]MUGGLE STUDIES CLASSROOM
This course involves the study of Muggles "from a wizarding point of view." There is apparently a need for witches and wizards to learn about Muggle ways and means, if only to ensure they are able to avoid them or blend in.
00
[ ]DEFENSE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS CLASSROOM
Commonly shortened to D.A.D.A., this class teaches defensive techniques to block spells, charms, curses, hexes and jinxes cast by other wizards, counteract the Dark Arts, and to protect from Dark creatures.
00
[ ]CASTLE COMMON ROOM
The Castle Common Room is a mixture of all of the common rooms for each house. It's filled with squishy armchairs and couches, with a few fireplaces and tables spread about. It came to the attention of the teachers that there was nowhere for students to relax and hang out with students from other houses, so this was created as the solution to the problem.

[ ]HISTORY OF MAGIC CLASSROOM
This class is what the title suggests - the history of magic, which is often a bloody and unsettling history. However, the textbooks tend to gloss over some of the finer points, giving students an incomplete history.
00
[ ]MCGONAGALL'S OFFICE
Walking down the corridor, heading towards the large oak doors that are the entrance to the school, one can find McGonagall's Office off to the left. Upon entering, the room is neat, well-kept and not overly sentimental. A scarlet tin of biscuits is kept on the desk to make the office seem a little more homey.
00
second floor
[ ]MOANING MYRTLE'S BATHROOM
The bathroom's wooden cubicles are worn and ill-maintained, and even the stone sinks are chipped. Like many of Hogwarts' rooms, it is candle-lit, but the candles are in holders rather than a chandelier and there are not enough of them to light the room properly. The sinks, which form a row under a large cracked and spotted mirror, have copper taps, one of which has a tiny snake scratched on the side.
00
[ ]SWORDHAND'S OFFICE
A welcome feeling is cast over Professor Swordhand's office. The curtains are almost always drawn out. The desk is made of elder wood on the desk top and Holly, Willow, Sequia and Yew on the legs. His chair is made of apple wood. His surroundings consist of various books about the dark arts and defenses both in theory and known uses and practices from other sources. You'll usually find Professor Swordhand there grading papers, helping students and others, reading or researching. His office opens freely to anyone who needs to see him.

[ ]TROPHY ROOM (1 sub-board)
Hogwarts has a trophy room where all the old awards, trophies, statues, cups, plates, shields, and medals are kept in crystal display cases. There is also a list of all the head boys and girls. It's adjacent to a long gallery full of suits of armor. Peeves likes to bounce around the trophy room.

All of your injuries sustained on school grounds can be treated here; if it's worse, it's off to St. Mungo's for you. Located inside are many beds and an office in the back for the current Healer. Only five people at a time per patient.

[ ]FOURTH FLOOR CORRIDOR
The corridor below the prefects' bathroom leads from the nearest staircase to the prefects' bathroom on the floor above and has a tapestry hanging about halfway down the corridor. This tapestry conceals a narrower staircase forming a shortcut that leads down two floors, which contains the trick step that Neville often forgets to jump. The bottom of the staircase is also concealed by a tapestry.

[ ]PREFECTS' BATHROOM
This is fourth door to the left of the statue of Boris the Bewildered on the fifth floor. The door requires a password (The door itself knows the correct answer), and can be bolted from the inside. Inside, the bathroom's walls, floor, and single sunken bathtub are all made of white marble, lit softly by a candle-filled chandelier. The rectangular tub is the size and depth of a swimming pool, and even has a diving board, but unlike an ordinary pool the tub is lined with about a hundred taps, each with a differently coloured jewel set into the handle. Each tap automatically releases not only water, but bubble bath (a different kind of bubble bath for each colour-coded handle). A pile of fluffy white towels are kept in one corner

[ ]PORTER'S OFFICE
Carolyn Porter's office is not exactly the most inviting, though it does have a few homey touches. The room is extremely clean and well-organized. Atop the professor's desk are pictures of her family, and on the windows are deep blue curtains to keep the sunlight out in the early morning and late evening.

[ ]HEADMASTER'S OFFICE
The tower of the eccentric Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore can only be entered by a secret entrance (privvy to the entire school, of course). Inside his office are multitudes of shiny and whizzing objects that constantly distract the eye. In the center of it all is the Headmaster's mahogany desk, where you are most likely to find the Headmaster himself at nearly any time of the day.
00
[ ]ROOM OF REQUIREMENT
This is a room that comes and goes and can be used for anything. Located on the seventh floor, in front of the tapestry of Barnaby the Barmy trying to teach trolls to dance, one must walk in front of it three times in order to get it to open up.
00
[ ]DIVINATION CLASSROOM
At the base of the North Tower is a circular room accessed by a silvery ladder hanging from a trapdoor. Inside the room, the air is hot and stuffy due to an ever-present fire and its fellow, the copper tea kettle that gives off noxious fumes. The walls are lined with shelves of various items used to peek into the future. The floor is crowded with small tables, squashy armchairs and little poufs.
